Beyond the Bullet Points

David Lankes feels strongly about the state of libraries. His blog post offers a few suggestions for what we need to do about the state of libraries in this century.

We’re acting like the passengers on the titanic who just saw the last lifeboats float away. Lankes asserts that we need to stand up and proudly proclaim, “I’m a librarian.” with as much pride ans the child’s proclamation in the picture.
Let’s do it!

Folks, the key word here is DO.
We can sit around and complain while our livelihood diappears or we can stand up and do something about it.
